Protected Geografical Indication Parnassus
Central Greece. In Parnassus viticulture zone we cultivate the aromatic variety Malagousia in the vineyards Livadorahi and Anamero. The total area comprises 4,5 acres and the altitude is 400-450m. The composition of the soil is a well drained mixture of loamy clay.
Vinification method & Maturation
After the grapes are harvested, the pre-fermentation extraction method is applied and the alcoholic fermentation of the juice is then carried out at graduated temperatures. Stay of the wine for two months in pre-bottled wine.
The main characteristic of Malagousia is the rich citrus aromas accompanied by notes of white flowers and lime aroma. The color of the wine is green with yellow reflections, vivid acuity and freshness in taste and moderate aftertaste.
It can perfect acompany traditional Greek cuisine, oily foods, yellow cheese as well as colorefull salads. Best served at 8-10º C.
